Arthur’s Pass National Park Tipi Wedding

Nestled in the heart of New Zealand’s Southern Alps, Arthur’s Pass National Park is a breathtaking backdrop for a wedding, and Shannon and Will gathered their closest friends and family for a weekend camping trip, complete with delicious food, whiskey, and plenty of opportunities to bond. Their tipi wedding, surrounded by the natural beauty of the Hawden Valley, was part adventure and very personal to them and their journey together.

Lot’s of candids, capturing the place, the people and experience on film and digital was the perfect mix.

Surrounded by towering mountains, lush beech forests, and the sounds of nature, their wedding location offered a sense of tranquility and connection to the earth. The stunning scenery served as the perfect backdrop for their personal and heartfelt ceremony in the forest.Adding to how special it was, a visiting toutouwai (New Zealand Robin) made an appearance and jumped around all ceremony!

Shannon and Will brought a cherished rock collection from Perth to use as decorations for their cake and the tipis which connected their personal passions and Australian roots to their New Zealand wedding.

Some incredible vendors really worked their magic in this remote wedding location.
