Julia & Seb, like so many, had their wedding plans completely derailed by Covid.

When plan b is this wonderful, there is so much hope! In about 2 weeks, they planned an intimate elopement in Wanaka, which was to be a surprise for a small handful of family and friends who could make it, under the ruse of Seb’s sisters birthday. The surprise was then turned back on them, when Seb’s dad announced that in keeping with German tradition, he was ‘stealing’ them, their gorgeous 6 week old son, their mothers and sister Nina off to a mountaintop in a secret helicopter that was awaiting them. I was in on both surprises and it turned out to be the most lovely day to capture, of the most lovely couple and families.
