Liam and Steve celebrated their love in September at the picturesque Thurlby Domain in Arrowtown, creating a personal wedding that was later featured in Vogue Brides Australia 2020. Nestled amidst the beauty of nature and history, Thurlby Domain provided the perfect backdrop for their romantic ceremony.

The couple exchanged vows in front of the historic ruins, beautifully adorned with pink cherry blossoms that added a touch of spring even though it was a cold day. The setting was not only visually stunning but also filled with heartfelt moments, as friends and family gathered to witness their union.

After the ceremony, guests were invited to stroll through the gardens, where they were entertained by photo boards narrating Liam and Steve’s love story. It was such a lovely personal touch, allowing guests to connect with the couple’s journey in a meaningful way.

Following the garden stroll, the cocktail hour took place among rustic barns on the grounds of Thurlby Domain. This charming setting allowed guests to mingle and enjoy delightful refreshments while soaking in the serene atmosphere.

To capture some intimate portraits, Liam and Steve and I took a quick drive to nearby Coronet Peak. Despite the chilly weather, the breathtaking views provided a dramatic backdrop for their photographs. The couple embraced the moment of our quick photo shoot that showcased their love against the stunning alpine scenery.

Returning to the main Woolshed at Thurlby Domain, the couple and their guests enjoyed a beautiful evening filled with dinner, heartfelt speeches, and lively dancing. The  charm of the Woolshed complemented the overall aesthetic of their wedding, making it a perfect end to what was a magic day.

The feature, spanning four pages, showcased the details of their day, highlighting the love and joy that filled the air. Seeing it in print was such a thrill for everyone.

Liam and Steve’s wedding at Thurlby Domain blended romance with personal touches that made their day truly unique. I truly felt like one of the family which allowed me to capture such personal moments between everyone. 

The dancefloor was also extremely fun to get amongst and I ended up staying and dancing long after official coverage was meant to finish!
